Our Guiding Mission

                                                  Mission Statement

At Children Community Academy (CCA), our mission is to provide a Christ-centered educational foundation that nurtures the mind, strengthens character, and inspires a lifelong love for learning. We are dedicated to cultivating academic excellence, spiritual growth, and personal integrity in every child entrusted to our care. Through a balanced program of rigorous academics, hands-on learning, and faith-based instruction, we empower students to reach their fullest potential—spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and socially.

Our goal is to develop confident, compassionate, and well-rounded learners who reflect God’s love in their actions and make a positive difference in their communities. We strive to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every student feels valued, supported, and encouraged to discover their unique God-given gifts. By integrating Biblical principles with creative enrichment, innovative teaching, and community involvement, CCA equips students to become leaders of excellence, purpose, and faith—prepared to thrive in life and serve others with integrity. At Children Community Academy, we don’t just educate children—we inspire world changers and build legacies of faith, knowledge, and purpose.

School Enrichment Environment

Early Childhood Development

At Children Community Academy (CCA), we believe the early years are the most important years in a child’s growth and discovery. Our Early Childhood Development Program provides a loving, faith-based environment where children are encouraged to explore, imagine, and grow through purposeful play and guided learning.

We focus on developing strong foundational skills in language, motor coordination, and early academics while nurturing important social, emotional, and spiritual growth. Through engaging hands-on activities, music, art, and storytelling, our youngest learners begin to build curiosity, creativity, and confidence in a joyful setting.

Our approach balances playful exploration with gentle structure, allowing each child to develop at their own pace while feeling supported and valued. Teachers model kindness, patience, and Christian principles, helping children learn cooperation, respect, and compassion from an early age. At CCA, we don’t just prepare children for preschool—we prepare them for a lifetime of learning, faith, and discovery. Every day is filled with opportunities to learn something new, make friends, and experience the wonder of God’s world.

Our school enrichment program provides a safe and nurturing environment where students grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Students receive homework support, enjoy creative activities, and participate in supervised recreation that builds confidence, teamwork, and leadership. We also encourage strong character and meaningful friendships in a supportive community.

CCA uses the Abeka curriculum to provide a strong academic foundation with biblical values and follows a structured 10-month school year. During the summer, our enrichment program continues with hands-on projects, themed activities, field trips, and interactive stem learning that inspires creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving. Our mission is to develop the whole child—mind, body, and spirit—through quality education, faith-based values, and a caring environment where every child can thrive.

Joyful & Community-Centered

Faith-Centered & Family-Focused Options

Our Educational Programs

Beyond the Classroom:

At CCA learning doesn’t stop when the school day ends—it continues in exciting and meaningful ways. Our enrichment experience provides a safe, engaging, and faith-centered environment where students can grow academically, socially, and spiritually beyond the classroom.

Each afternoon is filled with opportunities for homework support, creative expression, and supervised play, giving students a balanced blend of structure and fun. Through hands-on projects, interactive learning, and teamwork, children strengthen critical thinking skills while building confidence and leadership.

Preschool School Curriculum

At CCA our preschool through kindergarten programs are designed to build a strong foundation for lifelong learning. We focus on the whole child cultivating academic readiness, social confidence, and spiritual growth.

What Our Families Say

SELENA B,PARENT

Finding a School for your child as a first time parent can definitely be challenging but Thank God for his leadership and guidance and the people whom he places in your life to help with direction. The Hensen's attend Robbins Memorial COGIC, I knew them as members; Sweet Couple, Classy, Very Admirable. The relationship wasn't based on what they did outside the church, I love them for who they are.

It wasn't until my sister sent her daughter to their school, I was elated, look at God, I didn't even have to worry knowing that it was automatic, I immediately knew where my son Robert Jr was going, what put the icing on the cake for me is when I attended the Kids Christmas program I believe, I was blown away; It was a little girl who recited I think the lord's prayer or at least as long as, she had to be maybe 2/3 in Ms. Robinsons class... ;can I also say it's awesome accepting kids at age 2; I truly admire how smart the littles ones were and I said to myself I want that for my son. Even after he started school seeing that they start the morning Giving Praises to Our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, That Especially made my heart glad but the second thought was should I be surprised.... I wouldn't expect anything less based on who they are. The support is amazing from ALL STAFF.

They allow parents to celebrate their kids at the school. I'll even say my son and my sister's daughter had issues getting along and the involvement of LOVE and WISDOM That Sister Hensen provided was and is a Blessing. The way she deals with the kids, which has to be reinforced by the Parent; it's enough when Staff and or teachers are placed in a position to have to correct, but I appreciate her and their approach on how to better deal with our kids and their relationship with each other. My son has been Student of the month, he enjoys going to school and getting new friends even when there are kids he hasn't gotten along with the change of attitude and acknowledging they are still friends says a lot.

I Love CCA and I have recommended and will continue, I Pray the Legacy lives on under the Leadership of Jesus and His Willing Workers. May CCA Be Continually Blessed in addition to Every Parent and Student and Staff that enters that building.

KARINA E., PARENT

This daycare is the best. My daughter enjoys it so much she asks me to take her to school on the weekends. She can't get enough of it. The hours are great for any working parent who needs a safe, reliable, and friendly atmosphere for their kids to spend their day. The kids enjoy learning and the setting is like home.

Finding the right school for your toddler can feel like a full time job. Trusting your little one with people you don't personally know, has its own set of fears. CCA has been the best transition for my son. After the first week my 4 year old walked out the doors saying, "I love my new school". The first week of school the teachers spent time getting to know the personalities of the students. That shower me the staff didn't just care about the academics only but the student as a whole. My son is learning and thriving. CCA is the right choice for picky parents like me.

TONI T., PARENT

I am a former student at Children Community Academy it was by far the best experience of my life. It help shape the person I am today. I am a proud mother of beautiful 2-year-old twin boys. There was absolutely no doubt where I was going to enroll them for a strong spiritual and academic foundation. CCA holds fond memories for me. Also, to my surprise my former Pre-K teacher, Ms. Laws, is still employed here. We are blessed to be a part of CCA.

I was kind of hesitant of sending my two year old to a daycare, but was referred to CCA from a friend who's child attended. This Daycare/ School has given my child the best experience a parent can hope for. They've helped potty train and teach my child how to be independent. The teachers are patient and hands on. Might I add the curriculum is pretty outstanding! I would most definitely recommend this school to anyone who's looking for child care.

JORDAN W., Parent

I'm extremely grateful for the experience our family had at CCA. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that all students needs were being met. During a global pandemic, CCA's doors remained open to provide quality care and education. Ms. Calvert is an excellent kindergarten teacher. She takes the time necessary to understand each child's individual academic strengths and weaknesses. Ms. Calvert understands that not all children's academic learning styles are the same. Where there are areas needed for improvement, she thoroughly works with parents to develop a strategy for success. Seeing how far our child has come, we are confident that choosing CCA was the right decision. My only regret is not enrolling my son sooner.

CRYSTAL S., PARENT

My son has been here since January 2019. We love it. They also helped us with the potty training process. They also have an open door policy and I am very particular with who cares for my son. They are teaching him Spanish and he plays soccer. I love the curriculum and I appreciate the homework they give him daily.
